Sitära | Indian Craft Spiced Rum (40% ABV, 70cl)

Sitära is a spiced rum from India, distilled in pot and column stills from locally grown sugar cane sourced across the Deccan Plateau. It matures in virgin oak casks, then is infused with regional botanicals and warm spices. Bottled at 40% ABV, it avoids cloying sweetness: vanilla, ripe mango, toasted honey, ginger and roasted coffee, with hints of cacao and hibiscus.

A high-character spirit for spiced highballs and seasonal cocktail lists, with an alternative to conventional Caribbean spiced rums.

Serve Inspiration

Deccan Highball:

50 ml Sitära Spiced Rum topped with premium ginger ale or fiery ginger beer over clear cubed ice. Garnish with a fresh orange wedge and a slice of candied ginger.

Spiced Mango Daiquiri:

50 ml Sitära Spiced Rum, 25 ml fresh lime juice, 15 ml ripe mango purée, and 10 ml simple syrup. Shake vigorously with ice and double strain into a chilled coupe.

Sitära Spiced Old Fashioned:

50 ml Sitära Spiced Rum, 5 ml honey or demerara syrup, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, 1 dash orange bitters. Stir over a large ice block and express the oils of a flamed orange peel over the glass.

Neat / On the Rocks:

Pour 50 ml over a single large ice sphere to bring out its oak undertones, coffee notes and warm spice finish.
