ArteNOM Selección de 1123, Blanco Histórico
Made at Destilería Cascahuín, a traditional distillery in the Tequila Valley. Under Salvador Rosales Torres, Cascahuín is known for its additive-free, terroir-driven style. This Blanco Histórico gains an extra layer from a short rest of 28 days in used mezcal casks, based on early 20th-century production methods. Hence the name Blanco Histórico.
Style: earthy, rich Valle blanco with a soft cask nuance. Flavor: roasted pineapple, warm butter, light smoke, black pepper, cinnamon, sweet potato, and spicy depth. Production: slowly steam-roasted, traditionally crushed, double distilled, and briefly conditioned in mezcal casks. Character: a warm, complex blanco in Cascahuín's classic style: honest, deep, and authentic.
